Where do you all get your crates from? Grocery store usually give them to you?
Next time you’re in the grocery store, just ask the manager if he’s got a milk crate you can have. That’s what I did and they were happy to give me one. Also, if you see the milk man, ask him and I’m sure he’ll let you have one.
Other than that, they do sell milkcrate-esqe crates at places like staples and walmart.
West marine sells them, but the grocery store should be able to hook you up!

Dumpster/side of the road. Found 4 of them in a trash pile off of Folly Rd. on JI last summer. Obviously kind of dumb luck, but you may want to go try out one of my favorite past times, dumpster diving.

Thanks everyone! I picked one up from west marine for 5 bucks after getting denied at a couple of grocery stores. There was no pricetag on it, and when I went to the front they wanted to charge me $20. After a mild heart attack, I told them I would continue looking for a free one, and the price magically dropped to 4.99. I wish I had that bargaining power for other things!!
