Trolling motor keeps popping 50 amp fuzes. Just started yesterday, literlally put a new fuze in turn on the trolling motor and it pops immediately. Any suggestions, checked all the wiring, everything seems good.

Does the fuse blow immediately even on the lowest setting. If so you have a short in the wiring (can you inspect all of it and have you checked for continuity between pos and neg?) or worse in the trolling motor itself.

May be your control board assembly. Mine blew this week end. I have a 55lb riptide. If the wiring is ok try taking the power head apart and directly attaching motor to the battery thur the fuse. If it runs fine and does not blow the fuse, then it is the control boardassembly. You should be able to repair it on your own or just take it to Charleston Marine. Wires just snap in and are covered with shrink wrap.
