minn kota ipilot

So bought new 19ft War Eagle with ipilot 80 riptide. Within first 10 uses powder coat on prop head peeled off. Minn kota replaced it. Just got second motor. 2nd time using it it just stops working with remote. I contacted minn kota. They had me remove control head and send it to them they are sending new control head. Anyone else having issues.

Not one I have had mine for 2 years

Mines been beat to hell and runs great! unless you count the crooked Minn Kota stickers.

Had to replace the GPS controle board after 3 years of heavy use! It was not cheap tho!

Mine sucks 1st one powder coat peeled within 10 uses. They sent me a new one used it once then it stopped working. Called Minn Kota they sent me a new control head. I installed it still broke. They sent new remote still broke. Then I talked to this woman named Brenda worst customer service rep ever. Dealer says they are going to get me another. Bought new 2 months ago nothing but problems.

I bought one 2nd hand, no issues yet and I have run it through the ringer!! Hopefully they get you up and running, love mine!!

Absolutely no complaints with mine. I just replaced it with the Ulterra cause I’m getting older and trying to save my back. I can’t imagine fishing without one.

I bought a factory refurbished one over 3 years ago and never had a problem. Probably use it 6 to 10 hours per week

You’re not the only one with those issues. Just do a google search and you’ll find similar issues especially with the control board. That being said, I’ve had a couple that have run well.

Well it turns out I owe minn kota an apology. The replacement engine isn’t broke. The fools that installed it along with my other electronics were too f—ING lazy to secure my fuse junctions above the bilge level. So it popped the circuit breaker the motor was still getting voltage so it would.light up but not enough amps.
