Brand new 36V, 112# thrust, 72" shaft.[/b] Top of the line trolling motor with self deploy & stow features along with I-Pilot and GPS lock. I bought it to put on my 21’ bay boat and turns out the 72" shaft is just a bit too long for my set-up. Looking to sell this and get the correct size. Paid $3k with tax and shipping. Just a thought, you might be able to shorten the shaft, lots of people have done it in the past. There shouldn’t be anything special about that shaft that would preclude either shortening it, or just buying a shorter shaft…would save you from losing money on it.
Are they not adjustable?
It would be nearly impossible for him to shorten the shaft due to it being the auto deploy and stow. There is a belt that runs down both sides of the shaft and if that shaft/belt isn’t perfect it wouldn’t deploy correctly. This is a great deal for a bigger bay boat. GLWS
