Just got a new to me boat and it came with the talon. I’ve used it every time I’ve gone out and had a few issues. First issues was the talon getting stuck. Rookie move went back to the manual and fixed the problem. 2nd problem was only one talon so wind and current would spin me around. Rookie mistake again. Figured out if you turn the trolling motor on low and point it where you want to stay it locks you in place. My last issue with the talon is its a bit loud. Not sure if they are all like that. When you lower it down you hear the motor pushing the talon down and then it clicks when far enough down. Anybody else have the same issue. Don’t get me wrong it works and works well but want to see if all make the same amount of noise.
