Selling My wonderful trolling motor to upgrade to the ulterra model that has self deploy. I had shoulder surgery and cant deploy it manually anymore.
Bought in July 2015. Has warranty until July 2017.
Comes with a brand new extra prop.
Probably used less than 20 times.
In September it would not connect to the remote control so I took it to get repaired under warranty and they replaced the entire motherboard! So you now have a motor with only two trips on it!
I have not used an anchor while fishing since I bought this motor. Best thing I ever bought for the boat. Only time I use the anchor is when were at the sandbar.
Motor was always taken off the boat and stored inside the air conditioned house.
Price is 1175 OBO. New cost is 1699$ plus taxes and doesnt include extra prop.
I Have box and everything that came with it including remote.
Will gladly demonstrate it in the water but you will have to help with lifting (I am still recoving from surgery)

If only it were an 80lb. We were actually looking at getting this motor this weekend. Glad to hear the good review.
Good luck w/ the sale & the recovery!
If I could get a bigger one I would. My old 20 foot sea hunt could not keep up with high winds with the 80. The bigger the better. Also 36volts gives you 2 extra hours straight run time. I fished in the same spot with my old boat and new boat and got 2 hours longer anchor lock in the same conditions. My new boat is a Sportsman 247.

bump hope someone could use this as a nice christmas present!
If could get rid of my 80lb I would definitely get this!
Darn it just bought a MG Xi5 80 on Black Friday. They are great. Mainly posting to say that anyone with a boat 16’ or over that can take the weight I would say get the 36 volt system for sure. Wind and big tide changes take a toll.
I had the 80 on my 20ft sea hunt and it was great but the 36 volt on my 247 sportsman lasts 2 hours longer! (In the same conditions nearshore in 2-3ft seas) same sams club agm batteries (which are on sale right now i think)
Still for sale. Getting tons of low ball offers. Folks this is not even 1.5 years old. Besides. I don’t need the new auto deploy one till May anyway.
I figured someone might want a nice christmas present but I can wait until May until selling.
Do you know if the warranty transfers to the second owner? If so, is there an inspection and transfer fee like when transferring a Yamaha engine warranty?
