Got out again today to much better weather but not as many fish. Ended the day with ten reds and lost atleast 8. I am not completely sure but i truely believe my hooks were soft and flexing during the fights. I experienced most of the hooks coming out during heavy pulling periods. A few of them were right after the hook up, during the first couple of head shakes, but i can not come up with any other solution. I did notice that my hooks looked offset and I did not remember them being that way, but I figured that I bought them by accident. After being broke off I noticed that hook package was not offset and I was able to bend the other one back by hand. I am trying to come up with a reason for losing some many fish the past couple of trips. I have to assume it is the hooks. Has anyone had similar issues before?
