Mirrodine Mirrodine Mirrodine

The largest fish I have caught for the past year have all come on a Mirrodine. By far my favorite lure. (Having said that I am not putting chunks of blue crab at 40 ft).

Great day with the trout today. All on Mirrodine. Fished in coming 68 degree and clear to 3 ft. Off shoot creeks close to main channels.

Caught 6 this way and largest was 17 inches.

Next i fished out going 71 degree water and muddy. 1ft vis. Mirrodine again but main channel near oyster lined outer bends. I saw them suspending off the bottom at 8ft. Caught this 20 in her and thought it was a red

I also like the Mirrodine but I use the XL version. I’ve caught many different species. Great little hard baits.

Those of you that fish hardbaits, do y’all leave both sets of treble hooks on, take one off, change out to something else?

“Apathy is the Glove into Which Evil Slips It’s Hand”, but really, who cares?

I leave both sets of trebles. If they don’t come rigged with them already, I switch the trebles up to VMC Permasteel hooks. More corrosion resistant. If someone made Stainless trebles, I’d probably run those instead.

Nice job. Those small suspending are deadly this time of year especially.

I usually leave the trebles on until they rust. Then I change them out. Only exception is on the top dog jr. On that I put a bigger heavier treble on back so it will sit tail down in the water. That is for the Reds to hook up better.

Nice. Suspenders are great in the spring!
