Miss Amanda 2/2

Well, it was one of the calmest days I have seen in a while for this time of year. Got2Go, an old HS classmate and I went out to around 80’, and we had a great time fishing and catching while listening to some good Christian tunes. We caught our 3 limits of BSB plus some other critters. Plenty of sea turtles and a few sunfish. We ran out at around 30mph and in at around 40mph. There is nothing like being out on the pond with good friends catching fish!!

I have the in-laws visiting this weekend and I think I might do a little brown nosin’ just to be on the safe side. Mother in-law loves the turtles. Where is a good place to see them. Drive straight? Zig_Zag? Wrecks? Any advice from the pro’s?

Lynn, thoroughly enjoyed it. That was the calmest, smoothest ocean I have ever been on for a trip. Next time, I’ll bring the wakeboard…Did you sleep well last night? I figured you had nightmares, hearing my electric filet knife going and going and going! Thanks again for the fine fishing and fellowship. Oh, Mr. Crabtrap…the best place to see the sea turtles this time of year AND with your mother-in-law is the Charleston Aquarium, but that might just be me…

I see your point! But nothing can compare with finding the real deal.

crabbie… the turtles are typically on the live bottom areas. that being noted its not like they stay there. the aquarium idea might not be to bad.

Thanks for the advice guys.

Congrats Lynn !

Sounds good Lynn glad to see you got out to the big water.
I was in colorado on a ski trip last weekend and my boat is still sitting in my front yard getting wax and some needed maintenatance, after i beat her up in NC.
I’ll be takin her back to georgetown on saturday and going out after i attend the Seminar at tailwalkers.(you going to that?) Hope to find something to wiggle a worm in front of
Sounds like the Key west treated you right out there.

Thanks! I have been impressed with my little KW and have enjoyed all the trips I have been on her, out on the big pond and in the lake. No, I probably won’t be attending the seminar. The striper should turn back on for a bit in a couple of weeks (hopefully). We need to get together again and catch something.

Ya you are right lynn
I heard that the cold weather has got the bait balled up and striper intrested. Hey you ever fish the shad run below the dam in the spillway. Just wondering guys talking about it sounds like fun

Gotta work but gonna split early to take the boat back to GT-- i realized there will be no parking at tailwakers for full rig at seminar and my wife doesn’t want to get up early to put the boat in and go back so gonna do it tonight. Gonna be nice on the ocean this weekend lynn.
