Long Enuff and I fished some live bottom in between 70’ and 100’. We caught a bunch of nice c-bass. That was about it as far as cooler fish. We caught probably between 15 and 20 reef donkeys each. LE managed to catch a couple of those exinct snappas again. Man, it hurts to watch those swim away.

We used squid and other cut bait.
We had a decent ocean on the way out, mainly swells. It was a little different on the way back in.
We had a great time on the water…

Nice Snappers! Keep posting pics so that NOAA knows they exist! What we need to do is have an NMFS or NOAA representative go offshore with guys like Phin, Courtland, you, SkinneeJ etc…( I could go one here) and watch them catch snapper! Then they may see that this “endangered” species is quite vibrant on SC reefs. Create more reefs and watch the population grow even further. I would pay a lot more for my annual fishing license if ALL of the extra $$$ went toward new reef development AND there was not a threat of bottom shutdown.
Lynn, glad you all got to clean some nice fish!

Thanks! I appreciate the compliment, but I wish I could catch fish like those guys you listed.
Those agencies wouldn’t want to have the real facts conflict with their facts…[:0]
