Miss Amanda 5/13....

Got2Go, Long Enuff and I had another fun day out on the pond!
We had some issues with rubber hooks though.:smiley: We fished mainly in less than 300’. We found a few spots just north of the EB with upper 70s and plenty of fliers. We should have brought home our limit of phins, but they just kept coming loose. That’s fishing, I guess.[:I] We did manage to bring home 15 of the carolina gold and a small, but decent wahoo. The dolphin that made it to the box were not real huge, but they will taste just fine, and the hoo might be close to 25#. It was a slow rough ride out for the little boat, but it turned out to be a nice beautiful day with a lot of action. I also lost what appeared to be possibly a white marlin in 288’ near the end of the day. I have no experience with marlin, but that was a pretty cool site to see. It may be a good thing that it spit the hook, so we could get back to meat fishing…
I’m not sure how many pics we took, if any. I’ll post some if I receive any.
Can’t wait to get back out there, we had a blast…

Nice job guys. It was good to see you out there. I wish I could have stuck around until the water got hot later on, but maybe next time. If you need some metal hooks, I got some, we didn’t loose any yesterday.:stuck_out_tongue: j/k.

Lynn, thanks again for the trip out, sorry we couldn’t hang out there with you guys the hole trip, but I was concerned about my fuel burn, still trying to get used to the engine and gauge package, sounds like you had a great day, we tried some new things yesterday, some worked, some didn’t, but it was great to be out there with you and crew never the less, will talk to you later, David.

Congrats on a good and safe day. I had everything ready to and hooked to the truck and the crew bailed out at 7:30 Wed night. Maybe make it next week.
