Rick, I’m trying to enjoy it while I can. My back has been bothering me again the last four or five weeks. I can’t imagine why. Really, it wasn’t that rough of a ride out because we went pretty slow, but the way back in was a lot bumpier and wetter.
tlread, I am far from any comparison to the big boys, but we have fun, and occasionally mess up and bring a few fishies home. Yeah, we have a case of alcohol abuse every now and then when a steep set comes through. [:0]

Russ, I try to be as safe/prepared as one can be with a little boat and limited funds.
I’m ready to get the boat back out there. Hopefully, the next trip will be a little smoother and a little more productive…

You think you and your friends are slick, but if you would have read what I posted in the “poofed” topic, I clearly stated that I have allowed and would allow a sail to be held for a pic, if it was for a sail virgin, and the sail would be handled as carefully as possible. And, I also mentioned that no matter how careful I may handle the sail, it does not excuse me from the wrongful act. But, I would not post it on this, or any other forum. That was what was messed up with the other topic. The OP posted a video of the wrongful act. I posted to the OP that the sail was a great catch, but a video and/or pics should have not been posted.
But, since you decided to post the pic, I’ll take my licks from all, for I am guilty of removing the sail, and I can not argue with that. If another one is landed on my boat by a first timer, there will probably be a similar pic if the situation and conditions allow it…

Like I have stated many times over, I never said anything about the removal of your great catch. I just did not like the manner in which it was handled. I have also stated that I have, and will remove one for a pic for a first timer on a sail. I do not feel that your “Hypocrisy” theory holds any water here due to the fact of the above statements and that I have also stated that “I was guilty” of removing sails for pics. Regardless of how a sail is handled, it is still a wrongful act in the eyes of the law. But, I will say that every sail that I have ever quickly and carefully removed from the water, had to have a better chance of living than the one in your video. Ahh, the video. Who would post a video of such an act? Heck, I even know better than to post a pic on a forum such as this one. Of course, I have some not so friendly friends on Facebook that decided it was a good idea to post the above pic. Who cares?? I have already admitted guilt several times. I like the way you are trying to take the heat off of you! Well done!!

I like the heat, thats why I keep posting this video over and over again. It was fun to see you guys get crazy with your comments. However I never thought it was going to be this good. It has exceeded all of my expectations of CF.com. Now we got a guy that did the same thing and is to ashamed to show it himself. somebody had to do it for him. Thank You Jake for you picture, it has been a very funny afternoon for me.

Thanks Bolbie, Michael, John, Thomas and all the good guys on here that support me. This has been a very funny experience for me. Some of these guys have really been interesting to say the least. But that was my plan from the beginning. Now this thing here, is much better than I ever expected. LYNN and I will become new friends and old friends later, but I’ll never let him forget this.
