Got2Go, 2 other buddies and I had a slow, but great day on the pond! We didn’t need radar to get through the fog on the way out because there was none until we got to the E banks area right before sunrise. It was smoother than I expected, so we were a little ahead of schedule. We started off the day with a decent hoo in 130’ that was at least 40 lbs. We missed/lost a couple of decent dolphin. We never went deeper than 300’, and all our hits/fish came in less than 200’. We ended up with 2 wahoo, one nice bft and 3 dolphin. The biggest dolphin was a bull that was at least 20 lbs. Not a stellar day, but a great day on the water with friends, and we got some meat!! We ran in at close to 40 mph, until the last 15 miles or so. Probably used about 50 gallons of fuel. Would have been less, but I couldn’t help but push the throttle and take advantage of the calm seas on the way in.
We should have some pics posted later…

What’s the deal with the swoll-up gas can?
Nice Bull.
I only have a 60 gallon tank, so I take two five gallon containers of gas, just in case. After the run out, I usually go ahead and dump them in the tank so they don’t vent out all over the boat. They are easier to stow at the bow, out of the way, when they are empty. I could probably get away without taking extra fuel since I usually only burn on average ~50 gallons, but I like to have a little extra…

You already got some good grocerys on ice this year.
That day looks flatter than a knats ass stretched across a rain barrel. I hope to be joining the fray this weekend if weather cooperates.
Good on ya man be safe out there!
