I decided to take advantage of the weather so put together a crew to head to the deep blue. We rolled out of Shem Creek at 0900 in search of the plenteous coryphaena hippurus. Why? They are delicious.

Great way to start the day! Now it was time for a cold beer and sandwich, or so I thought⌠Two other lines go off before I make it to the cooler. We were three so the sandwhich would have to wait.

I saw you rigging baits and getting ready to leave out Friday morning in the creek. We had to limp back after getting 20 miles out and lower unit on the port motor goes out. Started to ask if you had room for a couple more. Looks like you had a good day.

Awesome Heather! Keep it up. Did you get that downrigger/dredge reel working? From the looks of it you didnât even need it.
Dredge reel was too big for the rod holders. I was able to fit it in the stern seats backrest holder which put it uncomfortably close to the starboard engine. Worked just fine, but Iâm gonna mount it like you suggested so I donât have to worry about it.
