Pancake,…I don’t think it really matters who i or anyone likes or doesn’t like…
We are all different but the ocean binds us even if we don’t see eye to eye.
I am not envious of anyone, as I feel blessed in my own life. …and i am happy for anyone who gets to fish and enjoy the ocean and all it has to offer. I too believe that you should never take for granted that everything will always go as you plan, that you should take precautions to at leat do your part in staying safe…and if that means buying a epirb, spot, towing service or extra radio versus another rod or tackle…than that’s what you should do. One thing you cant buy is common sense. No one should ever think that mother ocean can’t slap you in the face and humble you real quick like…and you just pray that when and if it happens that you’ll be able to walk away afterwards…and I don’t think that there is a person on here that wouldn’t help another in need or distress.
Life is too short to waste it on things that are of little matter… You don’t have to be “the best” …along as you are “your best”…and humble enough to be appreciative of those who helped you get there.

This is great. All of Charlestonfishng.com’s finest worked up about body slamming a girl who has been offshore fishing for two years now. You boys just go ahead. You are the man.

You honestly are going to enable her continuing to play the poor little girl among all the mean boys card? Another slap in her face from you I say.

Has nothing to do with man or woman. LSK is all over this forum beating her chest. Then, it’s just too harsh went people dish it back?

Nevertheless. I am going to fish this weekend as planned. LSK is not going to tell me what I need to catch so that I dont have to wear high heels and clean her boat. Sorry to disappoint you but that doesn’t motivate me all that much.

Read again if you think somebody is ganging up on her unfairly. She made her own bed- nobody else.

First mention of any sort of competition on this thread:

Yes, I am a female. You got a problem with that? Then let’s go settle this, Saturday, you, me, my vessel* versus your vessel*, biggest sword wins. I ain’t skeered. Are you?

Man up or lay the **** off.

Again, why the female card all the time? She has proven she is no ordinary girl already so why’s it keep popping up unless that’s what motivates her? If so that’s fine. It has nothing to do with my comments though.

The two have nothing to do with each other.

You gonna let her fight her own battles? Why do you feel the need to play “body guard”?

And for what it’s worth(still not sure what that has to do with the price of tea in China)…

Affinity fish, Won the Redbone last year. Great guide and good person in general

MARSHGRASS, We covered her already

Edisto fisher, Taught Phin most of what he knows that is worth knowing. Cooks and eats great food. Taste in wine is beyond reproach. Been known to go to a concert in the mountains and drink good beer, maybe moonshine too.

Phin, Close friends with the people at Haddrells. Made great strides in developing that friendship when he was selling Avet Reels from the trunk of his car. Phin claimed he couldn’t get a student loan because they didn’t give student loans for going to a pretend law school. Said the Avet sales paid his tuition at Charleston Law. Wouldn’t be where he is today if his car didn’t have a trunk.

Stretch, Just turned 30. I think he got 8 new tattoos to celebrate. Rumor has it he may be getting a haircut for next summers fishing season.

Salt fisher, Everybodies friend. Deathgrip handshake and a founding member of the Captains Lounge

Capt Fritz, for some odd reason, even unbeknownst to him, has never been band* from CF.C. Still gets the funk on his toenails though. Probably hereditary from his Been Ya relatives

Lynn, Has 3 horse shoes up his butt when he fishes offshore. Fish seek him

H20gul (andi), Drinks good vodka and is more organized than 14 regular people

Courtland, Jeremy, aka Hooked Up, at Atlantic Game and Tackle said Courtland is the most intense and excitable (when he is into the fish) fisherman he has ever met. Said after a good bite, Coutland stays

Hey. it’s been 10 or more against 1. What’s wrong with 10 on 2?

So you think that what you read on the internet about someone gives you an insight as to who they are??

Get back to licking LSK’s shoes and kissing her a$$…your time would probaly be much better spent…

Southern Comfort

Seriously? What does that mean? Other than just being a terribly weak comeback, it didn’t make any sense

She chose this road that we are traveling now…let her drive…there is a good reason that most folks(myself included)dont contribute much on here any more…do a search for Edisto Fisher’s “Types of Fishermen/Sportsmen”…and let me know which category you and your girl fall into…

Southern Comfort

How about I just call EF and ask him his opinion? Let me try and sift out you point. You’re arguing with me, saying I shouldn’t argue for her? Do I have that correct?

Ok. I guess you busted me. Dern

Pancake- You haven’t a clue who I am, but this isn’t about me.

For the record I don’t see the big deal. If LSK and her crew are happy doing it their way, who am I to say otherwise. We pay the Coast Guard whether they are looking for her or not. Not everybody is a gracious winner. It is usually a sign of immaturity or neediness.

Finally someone making some good sense. Thank you. There was no reason for Phin to start a thread that had nothing to do with it’s title, but was only meant to push peoples hot buttons. Just as people are critical about the way she posts, they are doing the exact same thing but it’s directed straight at her. I think a lot of people need to take a look in the mirror
