Maybe I wouldn’t be as interested in her swordfish if I hadn’t spent 3 hours typing a how-to swordfish email to her and never hearing a peep back from her. Not a “thank you,” not a “you’re an idiot,” not even a “hey we had _____ bites in _____ depth at ______ o’clock- thought I’d share info with you since you shared info with me.”
You have totally missed the boat if you think people have any beef with her because of the fish she posts on this board.
People have beef with her because she is constantly taking risks and disrespecting both other anglers, aka: people who love doing what she does just as much as she loves it, and the ocean itself.
It isn’t worth it, and somebody will end up hurt.
I don’t care how it looks to others when I’m here posting this.
I’ll be your huckleberry.
USCG Norfolk trying to reach a small overdue boat out of Charleston is not a joke. Jayhawks would have been flying around looking for her if her father had not responded from another boat to the USCG’s calling.
USCG was pon-pon’ing all vessels that Miss Behavior was missing.
That is what you want happening when you have been swordfishing and are overdue.
I am just wanting to know what was caught this time and if any lessons were learned.
Right here is a good place to share your lessons with the rest of the community who looks up to you, LSK.

Phin hows it going selling rigs? Doing any of that around town cutting the local shops out of the loop?
I just bought 100 dollars worth of circle hooks from Haddrells, actually. I probably spent a couple grand in Atlantic Game and Tackle this past spring also. Yet, I have been fishing three times in 2012. Tell me how that works.
Mike Able and Jeremy Burnham both have my number if they have a problem with me selling bottom rigs to people. And those guys sure seem to be happy when they see me walk into their doors, and they know exactly what I’m doing with what I buy from them because it’s discussed out loud in the open. You still don’t see me really pushing any rigs for sale on here though, do you? I don’t want to make everybody’s bottom rigs. I will make you a couple and show you how to make them yourself if you’d like. Guess what else? No local store carries what I make. They only carry all the stuff I use to make the rigs. It works out pretty well that way.
At any rate, I had no idea that anyone had a problem with me selling rigs.

I could be completely wrong about this, but why the dig on Phin? Are you upset with the shrimp boats selling me 50# of large for $3/lb opposed to paying $6.99 and up at Mt. Pleasant Seafood. The man has shared so much with so many, yet you take a stab at him on random post? He’s got nothing to hide, so if you want to try to take a shot at him, man up, and talk to him one on one. Again, I may have misread the comment, but I felt I needed to respond if my feeling was right.
“The problem that infuriates you the most is the one you are meant to solve.”
Definatly serious business out there, this is a good reminder to give someone your float plan when you go out. I fish from a kayak in the upper Wando about 2 miles from my house and I still leave a float plan.
Phin has alot of very valid points and Cataddicts attempt to stab Phin was on the pathetic level of internet comedy. Im just waiting to hear the swordfish report from the most attention seeking person on this website. Anyone who thinks LSK is bad on this website must not have been offshore when she was fishing…the non stop babbling that happens on the radio when you made the mistake of fishing within radio range of her is absolute torture
You won"t buy these quality rigs from a “production” company! I’m not saying these can"t be made and sold at any of the local tackle companys, but they will have to be hand made to get the quality. I just think they would heap rather sell the tackle it takes to make these rigs to a local and let them invest their time and knowledge in tying all those (**() knots. Just my two cents. Cause thats how I roll.

Congrats on a safe trip.
Phin, I will not give you credit to promote your rigs.
FYI I caught no swordfish on Friday. Time for Phin to do the celebratory dance, lol. But I caught many mahi’s / couple wahoos/ mega RED PORGIES a jolt head a knob head limit of vermillion and an undersized flounder on Saturday, so good for right me.
With rates so low, now may be the perfect time to refinance or purchase your dream home. If you are thinking about home financing give me a ring!</font id=“blue”>
Ha ha…I’m sure Phin is all broken up over your stinky pinkies. Do all your loved ones a favor and buy a satellite phone or a spot device.
My loved ones weren’t worried about me because they were talking to me on the VHF throughout the day silly.
Now please, this is Phin’s offshore report. Stop taking away from his light. Phin is about to report… [:0]
