Conditions were a little rough for boating so decided to give the pier a try. Caught a speck, a few bluefish & a flounder. All under slot. Had a nice flounder find freedom just before bringing him up. Also brought in a toadfish and a crab (first time w/ a rod).
Never thought about using a flip-flop for crab bait.
