Mola Malo

Went out with Aquatic Therapy saturday. We rolled out to about 140 ft in search of weed lines and dolphin. Only found some stray boards and floatsam none of which seemed to be holding any fish. We did see a big mola mola!!! We came into the bonita in about 90 ft of water and could have caught a boatload of those but it was getting late so we called it a day. Thanks to Vince and Stephen for a great day!!!

Nice bonita! Those are always fun to catch when fishing is slow.

nice little tunny

WTG guys, Nice false albacore. Weird mola mola. They look like a giant head with a dorsal fin on both sides

What a good day for all. No meat fish but a great day in the water. To see the things that we have, is what it is all about. Thanks to all. Meat is on the way.

Yeah it’s hard to believe a fish that looks that good isn’t edible. But at least there fun to catch !!

Ive heard that some people do eat them, havent tried them myself but if you cook them right they are supposed to be decent eats, dont take my word for it though.
