moms shrimp pie

saltines/ritz cracker mix
shrimp…boiled and cleaned
grated cheese
canned cream
eggs
butter
salt and pepper to taste

( I also occasionally add some fresh sliced mushrooms or chopped green onions to mine)

here ya go…shrimp casserole prepared by my mom

(finished seen in far left of pic)

pour eggs and cream with a little water added in over casserole and bake at 375 until bubbly and brown

Penfishn - This looks yummy and I want to try it BUT - How many cups of cracker mix? How many cups cheese? How much cream? If you don’t measure just estimate so I can get close. I’m a man, sorry for the stupid questions!

we use about a sleeve of ritz and a sleeve of saltines crunched up…4 or 5 eggs with a can of cream and a little about 1/2 cup water whipped together…just put how much cheese you want …she used about 1/2 of that quart container that she had shreaded…the other cheese went in the biscuits…that made that big casserole dish full…cut in half for smaller casserole…you just kinda layer it and bake…let it Set a few after you take it out of the oven…its really good!

My fiance and I gave this one a shot after a long night of shrimpin with the boys. Turned out great! We used cream of mushroom and sauteed the shrimp with some onions.

Next time I will probably just use more cream and a bit more water…I think I put a few too many crackers in
