Meet up with Jeff (sulcataman) Josh, Mia, Jason and myself headed out about 645 to smooth seas and great boat. Had alot of success @ 95ft of water and 60ft of water. Had alot of fun and got to meet some cool people. Limited on large seabass and vermillions, tons of throwbacks including large red snapper. Thanks for a great day on the water
Thank you Mr. Jeff for the oppurtunity, and the hospitality. It was a perfect day to be on the water, almost made me cry to see the Trigger and the Snapper go back swimming, but they’ll be there another day. I was very impressed with then effenciency of your boat, very sweet rig! Was a great trip thanks to Charlestonfishing.com, nothing like being able to meet new people who share the same interests and love for the ocean.

Yes, it was a great day on the water. For anyone on here who has never done it, take the time to meet up and fish with some of the other members. Jason, Keith, and Josh were a delight to have on the boat. Great fishermen and a real pleasure to spend some time with. And great photos Keith. Lets do it again soon.

Did you guys stop by the 60? If so, I saw you and that is a very nice looking boat. I would have been in the dark blue Sea Hunt on anchor. What a great day to be out there!!!

Hey Leetke. We did stop at the 60 on the way back in, about 2:30 or so. We drifted there but had good luck with the BSB’s, mostly because the site we hit is not on the DNR list of structures. And thanks for the compliment on the boat. Never thought I would be able to have a boat like it but really do enjoy it. Rides nice with plenty of power and room.

Yeah we caught BSB’s until we were tired…kept a few to eat that evening. Was a good time. Hope to get out farther and see what I can pull up soon

Y~73 and the area has some good fishing. Catch a calm day and cruise around looking at your sonar. Some nice bottom with a wide variety of species. Check the offshore forecast and the bouy “edisto41” for light seas then head out. Try some May trolling and watch the sonar for bottom fishing spots. Comanchee area has some good bottom too.
