Monday 6-1

Took a vacation day to take advantage of the nice weather. Headed a bit South and just North of Edisto Banks. Found a decent weed line in 220’ and caught some nice dolphin off of it. Had two cut offs on the planer also. Saw a white marlin come up but wasn’t interested in our baits. Picked up lines around 11 and headed to 150’ and caught a nice wahoo on the planer and a nice bull dolphin. Also saw a sail sunning. Good day of fishing with a great ride in.

Video of wahoo taking with digital camera. He ran hard when he first hit and actually jumped, but then came in easy. The jump had us confused a bit on what we had. Warning - there is some bad language in the video.

The Hoo’s and billfish seem to be getting pretty active lately.
Congrats on a nice day.

Thanks. The Wahoo is my favorite fish.

I’ve never seen one come in like that. He made a big, big run after hook up that literally killed him

what did the wahoo eat? meat or lure?
