Monday and Friday night fishing report

Me and a friend michael and wayne fished monday night got out about 7 pm and we trolled for like an hour with no luck … At like 8 30 pm we went to the towers and fished down rods from 40 to 80 feet. We had a 400 watt light and a hydro glow light out. We cought our 15 fish in like 2 or 3 hours our biggest was only like 7 or 8 pounds

Friday night me and Michael went out and went back to the towers around 7 pm and fished down rods about 40 to 80 feet . And we also had the 2 lights out . The bite wasn’t as fast as Monday but we caught our 10 fish in about 2 or 3 hours Our biggest fish was like 6 pound so no big fish … After the bait died on one we would cut the tail off and make slits in the back and put it back down and that worked just as good as live bait…

Interesting trick Weston. Thanks for sharing.

My livewell/bait tank isn’t well suited for live bait in these high water temps. So I’ve just been using artificials. I’ll give your trick a try.

Nice reports Weston! I had a decent morning yesterday. Report is posted on the striper fishing forum. I had no more than 2 lines out at any time since I was solo and wanted to stay out a little while:sunglasses: I don’t want to be done in an hour with only one day to fish with the start of the school year.
