Got to the comanche at about 7, while deploying the first bait a nice king after that a few cudas. we decided to pull lines and head to the ledge. got set up in about 140 ft and trolled east caught more cudas and an amberjack. pushed out to 240 ft found some scattered weeds and picked up two slinger dolphin. trolled back in got another king and jumped a small sail. smooth seas all day, could have ran 45 mph home in our 20 footer.
2 kings
2 dolphin
1 amberjack
countless cudas
0/1 sailfish
Gettin it done in a 20 footer to the ledge and back in one piece. Guess that answers the 20 footer to the ledge question that seems to have gone unanswered all summer. Figure this post should get every body going again.

Wishin I Was Fishin
I went just shy of 226 earlier this year in my 20’ Oceanic. Before heading back in punched in my jetty number ( #18 red bouy ) in my GPS and it was 58 miles. Great day, Dolphin in the box, 4 adults, 75 gallons of gas on a 20’ with a 1999 150 Ocean Pro. Going that far in such a small boat may not be for everyone, but it works for me. You do have to pick and choose your days.
