Monday. Late report. Stono 10/14

I got off from work Monday so I thought I’d try to hit dynamite hole. After 2 hours of frustration by not being able to anchor, I gave up and went inshore. The wind was too much for me to be on the jetties alone having never been there before.

I went into my favorite feeder creek. The tide was just starting to come in and the reds were on the move. I parked the boat and got up on the flat. I got 4 under slot pretty quick. All right at 14". This kinda fishing is cheating if you ask me.
I moved further into the creek to go for the big ones.
It was on. First of 5 overslot. All 27"-32"
No pics because I hadn’t turn on my go pro.
Next 4 I stuck my go pro stick in the mud and let it go. It was taking I pic every 5 seconds. Here’s a few that I got.

All of this was within an hour of the incoming tide.
I finished the day with about a dozen small trout on the docks. All were under 14".

Overall a good day off.

That’s some tough fishing right there! hahahaha AWESOME

“you win some, you lose some…but nothing beats getting some!”

Nothing like fighting big fish close quarters. Great fish

Nice. Very nice.

Good catchin’. What was the bait/lure of choice?

“I’m not a hundred percent in love with your tone right now…”

All were caught on a zman paddler rigged with a flutter hook.
10lb power pro and 30lb flouro leader.
