Monday March 1st offshore....

Took a few friends out to catch some meatfish. It wasn’t a stellar day but we did manage well over 100 lbs. of fish. Stopped in several places 70-100 ft. Ended up with about 5 limits of nice seabass (about 12, 3-4 lbers.) and 5 limits of big endangered Red Porgys.
Dropped the camera down in 100 ft. and there were so many fish. Big schools of cigar minnows, hundreds of spadefish,Seabass, grunts, red porgys, pinfish, ringtails and numerous other bottom dwellers. Had 2 big sand tigers on the screen at once. Fishing was better (quality) on the small live bottom spots without as many fish.
Current was rolling. It was so strong in 80 ft. that we had to use 16-20 oz. weight to get it down near the strcture.
The ocean was a little bumpy in the morning but was less than a foot on the ride home.

Tight lines.

Robert, what kind of camera do you use? that sounds pretty cool…

animal cruelty sucks…unless his lip hurts cause there is a 1/0 Owner Aki hook with a chinaback stuck in it

Nice report, and has been nice seeing you on the local Tele’ lately…well done.

Big boat is back and running well.

The underwater camera is made by Atlantis.

I will be posting footage when I catch up to technology. It has output slot for recording.
