was a blue bird day. kinda warm and not the first bit of wind. had to start the motor up a couple of times, put in gear, then cut it off to get any sort of drift going. only problem was only one short. fished from 8am to 3pm. only fish came on “bucktail” jim you know what that ugly buck tail is…lol…through rattle traps, jigs, spooks, name it and i threw it to schools and they just would not eat it. had a couple knock downs on the drs, had nice knock down while trolling live herring, and biggest splash of the day, i did have a fish go after a spook and it was at least a 25+ inch fish, fish came all the way out the water for me to see. tight lines to all.
