We got into the Specks on Monday morning so good that we ran out of bait they were all good size to ranging from 18 to 23 inches.
Before everyone starts teeing off on me let me say that i caught these off the Mississippi Gulf Coast where there is no shortage of trout the boat behind us limited out. The Mississippi River flood waters have pushed all the fish out of the marsh and it is a banner year.
Good for you and great, I mean GREAT to hear ya’ll are recovery so nicely from BP ordeal. Met a gulf angler at a Nascar race as that was happening and it really brought home what that meant to the gulf sportsmen. Send a few troutskis our way!
