Saltwater Fly-Fishing

Left out last Saturday for a week in Big Sky, MT. Skied in the mornings and fished the afternoons on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Met some great guys who guide in the summers when the snow melts and welcomed me back for some dry fly action. Fished just one 1 mile stretch of the Gallatin. Tried to get on the Madison for some drifting action with a friend I met out there, but our schedules didnt match. Ended up with 30+ from Montana white fish and rainbows to browns on streamers. Some of you have already seen the pictures from FB. They only tell 1/4 of the story.

Stop in Boseman Angler on Mainstreet In Boseman and talk with Petwr King. Considering you already know all you need to know about fly fishing, he’s a very cool guy and will talk your ear off about fishing. Plus he enjoys hearing about tailing stories since he rarely sees any.
