Moon light

I saw a couple of reds tailing just before dark last night, just off the Stono. I knew the tide was still coming in and there’d be more water. The clouds cleared and with nearly full moon, there was a fair amount of light. So I waited in the kayak hoping to see more tailers. It was dead calm, so even if it was too dark to see the tails in the distance, I could see water ripples. But nothing. Do the reds stop feeding in the dark? I did hear one splash that I never saw, but that was it, then all quiet. If I’d had any luck with the first 2 tailers, I’d of posted in the report section :frowning:

I have yet to target reds to talk about catching them. But they do feed at night. I have seen them very actively feeding at night. They are loud!
