Anybody know if Bohicket marina will allow you to moor there for a few hours as you eat and maybe go to the nearby shopping center?
Also, how long to boat there from the harbor (22ft center console outboard)?
Thanks for any insights.

Yes, I’ve done it before with my 22’ CC. I tied up at the fuel pier, but you may want to call ahead and give them a heads up.
From the harbor, I’d give yourself about 90 minutes to get down to Bohicket.
They do have some temp slips you can use, provided they are not full. I’d radio or call in when close for which ones, but about 90 mins is correct
Great, I’ll call them to see if they space. Thanks for the input!
Look for open Green numbers in the slips. I think most of the open free temp slips are at the far end near from the restaurants. Beware the tide…it rips.

Just a head’s up: Everyone says that they’ll let you tie up there to eat, but when I called last week they said “no.” They did say it’s because it’s a busy time of year, but they told me directly that I can’t stop by. I don’t know when they consider their “busy time of year” to be over.
Called this morning and they said there was room to tie up at dock G. We got there tied up, spent 4 hours there with no problems. Really nice ride there, took us 110 minutes at a leisurely pace from Shem Creek. You are not joking about the current, didn’t cause us any problems, but see how it could. Thanks for all your help, we had a great day.
Sounds like a great day! Glad to hear they have space again. I think I’ll try a dinner down there soon.
A few weeks ago we ran out in the ocean to 4KI and caught some spades. We came back at Bohicket, stopped for lunch at Reds and a beer or 2 and came back up via the ICW. Pretty ride. I believe it was 34+/- miles to Shem Creek from Bohicket Marina…if the Google Earth yardstick is correct.
