Went out with Juice and his buddies on there Contender Sat. morning. With all 6 of us in the boat, we left the Boat Shed around 7. It was fairly calm on the way out. We headed about 25 miles out to some numbers that quite frankly I couldn’t remember if I tried. But da*n they were right on the money. Two guys on the boat dove and brought up some nice hog fish. There wasn’t a dull moment on the boat. Constant action (the way good bottom fishin is). As we fished our last structure one of the guys yelled Dolphin under the boat!! then the fun began as we all frantically grabbed the spinning tackle and chummed the mahi to keep them at the boat. We caught 2 or 3 then it seemed as if they left so we slow trolled for a minute to find them again then Bam! All at once all four rods were bent. We stayed there for about another 20 min till they left. All in all a great day out.We limited on BSB, 3 short on silver snapper. B-liners and trigger were also in the box.

Were you on the Contender that came into the boat shed? If so, that was us that had just finished up when y’all got in. We headed to the hill early to get cleaned up and have some beers.
