Here is a video I finally finished showing a wahoo just hanging out around lots of dolphin. I believe these dolphin were spawning, and I will have to talk with Don Hammond about it. Hard to see it in the videos, but I could see clouds of stuff coming from within the school of dolphin in unison and sort of sinking to the bottom. Could have been waste, but it was always an aggregated cloud of it when I could see it.
I use a light weight CHEAP aluminum telescoping paint pole and the Go Pro “handlebar mount.”
I now have the mounts on the tips of my outriggers also, but didn’t mess with getting footage from up there yet.
I keep the GoPro filming in upside down mode to make it easier to point it where it needs to be when underwater, but you will have an issue with everyone getting used to that when you suddenly want to film something like a fish in the boat or something.
I will probably get a 2nd camera in the future and keep each camera setup differently.
