Hit up my pond today @ low tide(no work). Wanted to fish the incoming tide, but with these huge tides it took waaay longer for the tide to turn. I only caught 3 reds within the first 2 hours, between 26 and 37. The sun came out and I started seeing huge shadows in the shallow end of the pond(groups of 5 to 7 fish, then groups of 30! ,All of the sudden a school big school of haddens comes in and starts getting crushed!!! Judging by the size of the shadows thought for sure they were Reds, NOPE. HUGE trout, they wouldn’t hit anything but live fingers or live haddens. Absolut insanity for about and hour. Caught about 10 between 22 and largest @ 27 FAT. Never sight casted in a pond for schools for trout, guess there is a first time for everything. Hitting up the creeks tomorrow hopefully, let ya’ll know how it goes.

With your reports from that pond you have a gem of a place to fish ! I’ve got a walk to spot I like to fish near limehouse that has some big reds in it but no big trout .

Lol… Yeah since our JBoat has been out of commission I’ve had to go to some old land spots that produce. I would love to show some pics, (actually took some this time) I just can’t give any clue’s to this place, 10 years ago I would’ve shared a little more on this website, now WAAAYYY to many creepers that would triangulate my hole…lol. Didn’t get out on the boat today, sucks! Perfect day to be on the H20
I know what you mean about the lurkers and not wanting to turn your spot into a community gathering ! I’d love to see some pictures of them big trout though ! Take you a paint program of some sorts and just black out the back ground .
