Where on the Savannah did you put in? Been a while but I’ve got a friend that lives near Garnet and he would take me Bass fishing. We put in off hwy 119 at the end of Stokes Bluff rd. If it was a little closer to me I think I like that river as much or better than the Combahee.
Found a couple of Coral Mushrooms on the way back to my canoe, after hunting this morning.

Fred, we were near Millett camping down from Little Hell. Rain fell hard Thursday/Friday and the river was still rising when we left Sunday.

She figured with all the mushrooms growing in our yard & in the neighborhood. Several varieties / species… Could harvest and cook a few.
Nope not me. She cooks a mess and lives through the night then maybe I will try them
