Would anyone like to take a guess as to why one of my Navionics charts does not show up on my unit? I have two charts/cards - one has marine charts the other has lakes. The marine charts seem to work fine. However, when I put in the card for the lakes, it recognizes it as a navionics card but nothing will display. As a matter of fact, it removes the lakes altogether from the mapping.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Are the charts both on one card or separate cards? You can only have one set loaded at a time in the Simrad unit as the card has to be inserted to use them. Even if you have two micro sd readers I believe only one set of maps will be active

Two separate cards.

I think I have discovered the issue. Since the Simrad unit only takes the micro SD card, I was forced to copy the Hot Maps card from the SD over to a micro SD. The coastal charts were already on a micro SD so that’s why they are working fine. There must be some pirating/copyright software that prevents me from copying the Hot Maps information over to another card and then using it. I didn’t think about that before I did it. Thanks.

Yes, the data in encrypted on the cards.
Glad you were able to discover the issue. Maybe try contacting Hot Maps directly and see if they will
provide you with micro SD card for your Simrad
