Hey everyone, I’ve been browsing the site for the last few months and finally got curious enough to join. I’m from Charlotte originally and am used to fishing for largemouth, but bought a bay boat and moved down here in August to see what this saltwater bull**** was about! Just wanted to say hello, and send out my hopes that all of you are getting skunked just as frequently as I am this time of year.

Doesn’t matter if we catch fish or not. The gubbmint has “legally” skunked us all by virtually closing most all of the fishing down offshore and placing such regulations on the rest that it has almost become a waste of time and effort to fish.
Welcome…and don’t feel bad. I’ve lived here 10yrs and usually only catch a buzz fish.

Welcome and no, not getting skunked. Fishing is easy this time of the year, offshore while it still last and inshore for sure. Good luck and keep at it

I absolutely remember Ben. Last I talked to him was in 09 when I was in Afghanistan. I don’t do facebook or anything so it’s hard to keep up with old friends. Did you go to PD?
