The last 2x I’ve tried to shrimp, I had been skunked. I decided I couldn’t end the season like that. . . We didn’t have much time so we decided to try Morris Island at around 1pm after low tide. We only had time for about 5 passes but we did fill the bottom of the cooler with decent sized shrimp. . it was so nice out there too until the weather rolled in. Till next year!

yes, that end of Morris is called Cummings Point, where everybody ties up and parties…we’ve tried that big mud flat is years past, but haven’t done anything there recently…good to know the size was big…

Yeah I was pleasantly surprised, there were even a few jumbos in there mixed with mostly medium/large and some small. And we really were only tossing the net for about 45 minutes before we had to leave, who knows what would have happened if we stayed. I remember one toss brought up about 25 shrimp. . .I was really surprised.
