I never met Russ, and don’t know a thing about offshore fishing, but I have a buddy I lost driving drunk (one week before his 21st birthday) and he’s on my mind EVERY time I fish. His dad (who died around 2000) was a catfish guide up on Moultrie and my friend knew his dad’s tactics, and was the best fisherman I’ve ever known. Guys like him, and Russ, will always be what makes fishing such a blessing.
