Motor Issue - Advice Needed

'95 Mercury 115… Running fine at half throttle the other day and then the motor cut off as if the kill switch was hit. Not able to get it started now. The motor will “crank”, trim up/down and there is fuel getting to the carbs, but it will not fire. Removed a spark plug, turned it over and no spark at the plug. It is not the kill switch. Stator and voltage regulator have been replaced in the past two years.

Any thoughts on where to start with this one? Thanks in advance.

Not a mechanic but I would start at the stator, move to the starter, then magnetos, powerpack, then coils. Just trace the power.

Scout 185

not a starter issue, its turning the flywheel.
also not likely the coils, as all 4 wouldn’t likely fail at the same time.
stator, trigger, or powerpack
you will need a DVA meter to test the parts
