25 or 30 inch shaft,how do you measure the length?
Are you measuring the motor or the tramsom? The motor serial number is the most obvious way to tell, look for a “L” in the number for 20", “X” for 25", and “XX” (or something like that) for a 30". Otherwise, I think you measure from the top of the lower unit to the bottom of the powerhead, which is kinda tricky to guestimate where it exactly is… help me out here anybody…

I want to repower but I have always thought my 200 yammy was a 30 inch.When I spoke to someone at a shop he stated that they didn’t make a 30" in that year model.
