Does anyone have any experience using a trolling motor on your yak? I’m thinking of putting one on mine to help me get from one spot to the next more quickly…
i have seen some pics here and there.looks like it works to me.i plan on doing the same one day.

once you put that motor on it you have to register it and the motor… don’t forget…

Native Watercraft is supposed to be coming out with an attachment for the ultimates to use a trolling motor. The web site does not have a photo posted yet.

have already seen a canoe mount modified that works real well.and yes,you have to register it-and pay taxes.

I’m planning on moving the motor from boat to boat so it sucks to register each one even though I’ll only have one motor.
I bought a 50# thrust Minn Kota. I’m working on making a mount for the Native today. They want 100 bucks for their mount which is only a single piece of wood that I can buy for 5 bucks.
