Fished up in the lake drifting Shiners. Caught 3 Cats the biggest was 27#, 2 at 5# and one Striper. We drifted in the channel, missed a few and then moved to the edge of the channel to fish the drop offs. Thats where we caught the fish.

fished 3 spots last weekend on moultrie. only managed one white bass on cut herring and one small channel cat on piece of cut bluegill. cat caught in about 11’ of water. we were fishing pretty much in the middle of the day though. had some fun catching white bass and bream on a rooster tail, tons of mayflies falling from the trees.
Where did you get the shiners from? Used for bass in the past. Would love the get some to use for cats.

Got the Shiners at the Anglers in Monks Corner, right by the Tail race. I think they sell at the Short Stay store.
