Took the ole lady and fished the lower end of the lake last night. There was bait everywhere. Threw the cast net once and had enough for all night. They ate the herring dead or alive. We ended up catching 40 with only one keeper. Had a couple around 24 and 25. It was a great night fishing.

Did the “bait house” at Atkins Landing have bait?
We started by the dam and drifted away from it till we got around the first channel marker. I put in at short stay. Caught all the bait with a cast net, just looked for the school’s. Or just use a sabiki rig.
