Got a powder coated t-top with canvas roof. T-top frame has plate with 4 threaded holes that could be used, but would have to penetrate the canvas, I assume. Or, could mount to rail, but don’t want to damage powder coat. I’ve looked for something that would screw into the plate and stick out the side under the canvas, but haven’t found any such bracket. How have y’all done it?
cut holes in canvas, put silicon on mount before sticking it on to keep salt out.
Take an old philips screwdriver, heat it with a propane torch, & pop it through the holes into your canvas. That will melt the fabric(I’m assuming Sunbrella) & keep it from fraying. Put silicone on it when you mount, and you’re good to go.
