Team Well Hung finished strong to lock up Team of the Year.
Midlands Striper Club held its monthly Lake Murray tournament out of Acapulco, SC on December 15, 2018. 20 teams participated in the event bringing 28 striped bass to the scales weighing a total of 202.67 pounds with a 7.24-pound average. 13 teams were able to bring a full two fish creel to the scales.
Finishing in first place with a total weight of 25.16 pounds was Team Catch 22 captained by Terry Caulder of Little Mountain, SC along with Larry Martin from Chapin, SC.
Team Catch 22 also won the Justin Christopher Big Fish award sponsored by the Nichols Store with a 17.56-pound Striper.
Finishing in second place with a total weight of 17.19 pounds was Team Well Hung captained by Jason Tarlton along with Jacob Black and Brett McDowell, all from Saluda, SC.
Finishing in third place with a total weight of 16.69 pounds was Team Knot IV Reel captained by JD Humphrey from Lexington, SC, along with Danny Harris from Gilbert, SC and Tim Hendricks from Irmo, SC.
Lady Angler Award went to Liz Sineath from Team Stone Age.
Finishing in eleventh place with a total weight of 11.95 pounds was Team Gonna Fish.
Smallest creel went to Team Reel Determination with a total weight of 4.42 pounds.
The Palmetto State Armory Fishing Outpost prize went to
