Midlands Striper Club held its annual Lake Murray Youth tournament out of Dreher Island, SC on July 21, 2018. 32 kids participated in the MSC Youth Tournament. A total of 54 striped bass were brought to the scales weighing a total of 195.22-pounds with a 3.62-pound average. 25 kids were able to bring a full two fish creel to the scales.
In the 10 and Under division 18 kids participated.
1st place went to Christopher Higgins with a total weight of 13.77 pounds.
Christopher Higgins also won the Boys Big Fish Award with an 8.27-pound striped bass.
Morgan Kimble won the Girls Big Fish Award with a 6.88-pound striped bass.
2nd place went to Spencer Nickle with a total weight of 12.90 pounds.
3rd Place went to Spencer Morgan with a total weight of 11.11 pounds.
In the 11 and Older division 14 kids participated.
1st place went to RJ Sineath with a total weight of 12.18 pounds.
RJ Sineath also won the Boys Big Fish Award with a 7.11-pound striped bass.
Courtnee Love won the Girls Big Fish Award with a 3.20-pound striped bass.
