Team Time 2 Fish locks up Team of the Year in close points race.
Midlands Striper Club held its monthly Lake Murray tournament out of Acapulco, SC on December 21, 2019. 25 teams participated in the event bringing 33 striped bass to the scales weighing a total of 189.49 pounds with a 5.74-pound average. 16 teams were able to bring a full two fish creel to the scales.
Finishing in first place with a total weight of 14.95 pounds was Team Reel Guys captained by Marshall West from Lexington, SC along with Ricky Price also from Lexington, SC.
Team Reel Guys also won the Justin Christopher Big Fish award sponsored by the Nichols Store with a 9.23-pound Striper.
Finishing in second place with a total weight of 12.83 pounds was Team Landlocked captained by Richy Brensinger from Lexington, SC, along with Joey Smoak of Lexington, SC, and Wayne Bell of Prosperity, SC.
Finishing in third place with a total weight of 12.61 pounds was Team Well Hung captained by Brett McDowell along with Jason Tarlton and Jacob Black, all from Saluda, SC.
Lady Angler Award went to Liz Sineath from Team Stone Age.
Youth Angler Award went to RJ Sineath from Team Stone Age.
Finishing in eleventh place with a total weight of 10.47 pounds was Team Gonna Fish.
Smallest creel went to Team Knot Right with a total weight of 7.62 pounds.
The Palmetto State Armory Fishing Outpost prize went to Team Reel Therapy.
