Team of the Year tightens up after a rainy November Tournament.
Midlands Striper Club held its monthly Lake Murray tournament out of Acapulco SC on November 23, 2019. 23 teams participated in the MSC November Tournament. A total of 38 striped bass were brought to the scales weighing a total of 213.62 pounds with a 5.62-pound average. 18 teams were able to bring a full two fish creel to the scales.
Finishing in first place with a total weight of 14.23 was Team Landlocked captained by Richy Brensinger from Lexington, SC, along with Chip Bragg from Prosperity, SC. Team Landlocked also won the Justin Christopher Big Fish Award sponsored by the Nichols Store with an 8.67-pound Striper.
Finishing in second place with a total weight of 13.62 pounds was Team Fish Sticks captained by Bryson Koon from Lexington, SC, along with Barry Kahler from Gilbert, SC.
Finishing in third place with a total weight of 12.94 pounds was Team Knot IV Shore captained by Wayne Condrey from Gaston, SC.
Lady Angler Award went to Liz Sineath from Team Stone Age.
Youth Angler Award went to RJ Sineath from Team Stone Age.
Finishing in eleventh place with a total weight of 11.11 pounds was Team Reel Deal.
Finishing in eighteenth place with a total weight of 8.03 pounds was Team Custom Bent.
Smallest creel went to Team Motley Crew with a total weight of 3.70 pounds.
Synergy Therapy Live Release Award went to Team Landlocked.
