Midlands Striper Club held its annual Lake Murray Youth tournament out of Dreher Island, SC on July 20, 2019. 33 kids participated in the MSC Youth Tournament. A total of 39 striped bass were brought to the scales weighing a total of 175.26 pounds with a 4.49-pound average. 17 kids were able to bring a full two fish creel to the scales.
In the 10 and Under division 16 kids participated.
1st place went to Jake Moore III with a total weight of 11.22 pounds.
Jake Moore III also won the Boys Big Fish Award with a 6.65-pound striped bass.
Kaitlyn Keisler won the Girls Big Fish Award with a 4.51-pound striped bass.
2nd place went to Tucker Goff with a total weight of 8.91 pounds.
3rd Place went to Lyric Avery with a total weight of 8.81 pounds.
In the ‘11 and Older’ division 17 kids participated.
1st place went to Thomas Jae Higgins with a total weight of 19.35 pounds.
2nd place went to RJ Sineath with a total weight of 19.08 pounds.
RJ Sineath also won the Boys Big Fish Award with an 11.50-pound striped bass.
