If you have any questions concerning the tournament please don’t hesitate to call David at 803-221-6750 or Tommy at 803-221-6752.
I spoke with Tommy Richardson and he has confirmed that all fish have to be 21" to weigh, just like fishing on Murray. You can keep any legal fish you want but can only weigh a fish in the tournament if it is 21" long or more.
Landlocked, Laidback, and Cassell Bros. we’re 1-3! Congratulations to them! We were 4th or 5th. Some good fish were caught! I’m sure Tommy will have the recap up soon. Rain was not too bad in the lower end yesterday.
From the MSC Tournament Rules:
“Fees
The entry fee of $10.00 as set by the club should be paid before fishing MSC points tournaments. Entry fees should be paid at the meeting prior to the tournament unless other
payment arrangements are approved by a tournament director. Acceptance of late payment for tournament fees shall be at the discretion of the tournament director(s). A boat check may be
requested by the tournament director(s).
Late entries should be a rare exception. Competitors are
expected to arrive and pay on time”
To my knowledge, all members of your team were present at the meeting, August 13th. So why did you not pay your entry then?
All,
Please be patient as we (the PAC) carefully take in all considerations on the rules and tournament fees. This club is not about finding loop holes to penalize teams or anglers. What we try to do is ensure that the tournaments are family friendly and yet fair and competative. Being a tournament director is a HUGE job that requires alot of time and dedication. At this time I ask that everyone keep their personal opinions in check and allow us time to consider all the factors and what is best for the Midlands Striper Club and the members in it. We realize the fact that our bylaws leave room for “discretion” and that in itself can fuel conflict. The PAC is going to support the tournament directors with their final decision and I ask that you do the same.
Thank you in advance for allowing us time to carefully consider many factors in our decision process.

I fully support any PAC Committee decision, but I would point out that Woody made the first post (on the message board) about the discussion of the results. If he or his team did not want it discussed on the message board, then why did he make the first post?
